India is a country of a 1.2 billion people. In that at least, 200 million have no proper sanitation and no good drinking water facility. This is a major headache for our Nation. Worldwide, 2 billion populations have no good water facility and have been in jeopardy. They don’t have good drinking water as well as the teach is also fairly low as there is a chance of complete water failure in these regions. St Francis business school has realised that there is a need for creating awareness campaign in their institutions.
Today marks the celebrations of world water day. March 22 of every year is a day reserved for conserving water and tackling problems in relation to ground water depletion. Water availability is a scenario common in these days. The Cauvery calling project by Isha foundation is an good attempt to join the rivers and create a afforestation plantation over a crore of trees is a bold initiative to create and tackle water scarcity. Water conservation is a thing of the present and not a topic of the past.
Today on March 2022, on this occasion of world water day, we at St Francis business school tackle groundwater depletion and water scarcity by rain water harvesting technique that can ensure future water availability. Sending water to the ground directly by digging the ground is a good way to save water and clear water comes only from the groundwater. This alone can be the only source of drinking water of the future in cities as this increases the potentiality of clear water creation. Our institution, SFBS proudly has initiated the change by rain water harvesting in our campus and also stand first in line to raise an awareness campaign in our websites and Institute that we care for water conservation. Ensuring proper rainfall by giving back water to the ground can create sub ecosystem that can balance the water recycling program. A tiny drop of water conservation can one day over time form an ocean is the thoughts behind our institution concepts in regards to water conservation. St Francis Business School proudly wishes you all a happy world water day. Let us stand together to fight water scarcity and save groundwater depletion and create an independent ecosystem.
