PGDM means the Post Graduate Diploma in Management. PGDM is a Two-Year Course, and the Program is designed by the Autonomous Institution who are Approved by AICTE New Delhi. ACITE is the Apex Body which will give the Approval to Management Institutions in India. The major Difference between MBA and PGDM is MBA Students will have more theoretical approach and PGDM Students have Practical Approach. Many Students Think that MBA is a Degree and PGDM is a Diploma, but in reality PGDM will get more weightage if you are applying in right companies
MBA is a 2 Year Master’s Program which is Delivered through a College which is Affiliated to a University and Curriculum will be handled by the University Where as PGDM is a 2 Year Post Graduate Program Which is Delivered through an Autonomous College which is approved By AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education)
Any Graduate with 50 % Aggregate (45 % for SC/ST/OBC). Those who are in Final Sem/ Year also can apply
Admissions are normally offered on the basis of an interview and written test together. Students who have great creative and innovative ideas can include them in the interviews, which could aid for the admission. Good aggregate board scores and entrance results also aid in getting the admission.
Students can take Dual Specializations while doing PGDM Program
A right Student can get an Average Salary of 5 to 8 Lakh Per Annum and an Outstanding Student can get annual package of 10 to 15 Lakh easily as a fresher
Students can join for PhD in Management after completing the PGDM from AICTE Approved Institutions
